Operate and improve the Ask Max platform
Verify your tenancy before publishing your review
Display your reviews and insights publicly under your pseudonym
Send you notifications about your reviews (if you opt in)
Detect and prevent spam, fraud, or abuse

Sell your personal information to third parties
Share your real name or email address publicly
Use your verification documents for any purpose other than tenancy verification
Use your data for advertising or marketing without your consent
4. Data storage
Your data is stored securely in Australia using Supabase, which is built on PostgreSQL. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
5. Verification documents
Verification documents you upload (such as lease agreements or utility bills) are used solely to confirm your tenancy at a property. They are stored securely and deleted within 48 hours of verification. They are never shared with any third party, including property managers or landlords.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
Under Australian Privacy law, you have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Withdraw consent for optional data uses at any time
8. Third party services
We use the following third party services to operate the platform:
Supabase — database and authentication
Mapbox — address search and map display (search queries are processed by Mapbox)
Vercel — website hosting
